Thousand Islands Parekraf Distributes Hand Hygiene Facilities

Thousand Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Sub-agency distributed supporting equipment to prevent COVID-19 transmission. This assistance was provided by Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry (Kemenparekraf).

Hopefully this assistance can support health protocols implementation, especially in tourist sites on residential islands

Thousand Islands Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Puji Astuti said, the assistance was provided as one of central government's supports to revitalize hand hygiene facilities in Thousand Islands in order to prevent COVID-19 spread in tourism sector.

Clean Water for Portable Sinks on Untung Jawa Island are Fulfilled

"We directly distribute the assistance to 6 sub-districts after Kemenparekraf representatives handed it over to us," she conveyed, Monday (12/28).

According to her, this assistance is given to develop tourist destinations by providing portable sinks, liquid soap, and hand sanitizers in each urban villages.

"Hopefully this assistance can support health protocols implementation, especially in tourism sites on residential islands," she stated.
